THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR

We had caterpillar eggs and very little caterpillars at school this spring, so we decided to read and work along this story in "Infantil" and 1st and 2nd levels of Primary.
This was the result:

 Tivemos ovos e eirugas moi pequenas no cole ao comenzo da primavera, polo que decidimos ler e traballar esta historia en Infantil e ademais en 1º e 2º de Primaria.

We have completed the four seasons cycle and it's time to learn the song.

ST. PATRICK'S DAY

On Mach, 17th, Irish people all over the world celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
We learn about this holiday singing songs and playing some games in the English class.

O 17 de marzo os irlandeses de todo o mundo celebran o Día de san Patricio. Nós, na clase de inglés, aprendemos sobre eta festa cantando cancións e xogando.

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

At the English class we learnt new vocabulary decorating this "Christmas Alphabet".  

 

Na clase de inglés aprendimos vocabulario decorando este alfabeto navideño.

 Older kids also decorated diferent "Advent calendars"  

Os alumnos e alumnas "maiores" decoraron diferentes calendarios de adviento.

 

HAPPY THANKSGIVING !

People in the USA celebrate Thanksgiving each year on the 4th Thursday of November. This week we sang a song to learn about it and decorated a card to take home.

In 1st and 2nd levels we talked about traditional food in a Thanksgiving Dinner. 

En Estados unidos celebran o Día de Acción de Grazas cada ano o 4º xoves de novembro. Esta semana nós cantamos unha canción para aprender sobre esta data e decoramos unha tarxeta para levar a casa.

En 1º e 2º curso falamos sobre a comida que tradicionalmente compón a cena de Acción de Grazas.

HALLOWEEN STORY WITH PETE THE CAT.

Pete the cat is our pet in "Infantil" this year. And for Halloween, Pete brings this story and song: "Five little pumpkins" 

Pete é a nosa mascota en Infantil este ano. No Samaín, Pete trae esta historia e a súa canción: "Cinco pequenas cabazas"

PET THE CAT, "I LOVE MY SHOES"

This is the first story we watched, sang and danced with Pete the cat.
We learn English and one important thing: "No matter where you step in, never stop moving along and singing your song . . . because it’s all good!"

Esta é a primeira historia que miramos, cantamos e bailamos co gato Pete. 
Aprendemos inglés e unha cousa moi importante: "Non importa onde pises, nunca deixes de avanzar e cantar a túa canción... porque todo é bo!"
