WINTER ACTIVITIES

We made a lot of activities in Arts and in the English class along this term. All of them related to the Recycling Materials Project the school has this year: "BARRRO".

WEATHER SONG

This is the song we learnt related to the weather vocabulary we studied. We liked it so much that it is the first song every morning in the English class now.

Esta é a canción que aprendemos co vocabulario do tempo. Nos gustou tanto que a cantamos de primeira en todas as clases de inglés.

TEACHER ANN VISITS IES de BARRO

Last week, Teacher Ann (our Assisstant English Teacher) was invited to Barro High School.

Pupils in 1st grade of ESO are participating in a school press program called "El país de los estudiantes" (Coordinated by their teacher Esperanza) and they prepared an interview with their English teacher, Elena.

A pasada semana, a profe Ann (a nosa Auxiliar de Conversa) foi invitada ao IES de Barro. O alumnado de 1º curso de ESO está participando nun programa de prensa escolar chamado "El país de los estudiantes" (Coordinado pola profesora Esperanza) e prepararon unha entrevista coa axuda da profe de Inglés, Elena.

After the interview they gave her a small present and Ann took a picture with both groups.

Despois da entrevista entregáronlle un pequeno agasallo e Ann fixo unha fotografía con ambolos dous grupos.

THANKSGIVING DAY

Teacher Ann made this presentation for us. She is showing how Thanksgiving is celebrated nowadays as much more than a "food" celebration.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Last Thursday, 24th of November was special. We celebrated Thanksgiving with teacher Ann. We had to think of "Things we are thankful for". It's great to understand how lucky we are with the things we have.
All pupils in Primary made a big turkey. Each one had to write something " I am thankful for ..."

O pasado xoves, día 24 de novembro, foi especial. Nós celebramos Acción de grazas coa profe Ann. Tiñamos que pensar "Cousas polas que estamos agradecidos". É fabuloso entender o afortunados que somos polas cousas que temos.
Todo o alumnado de Primaria completou un gran pavo. Cada quen tiña que escribir algo polo que dar GRAZAS.

HALLOWEEN BOXES AND PUMPKINS!

These are the crafts that 1st and 2nd level children made during this Season as Autumn Art Work.

In the English Class with Teacher Ann they learnt all the vocabulary they needed and later in  Art Class they did the crafts. Here we show the resources we used.
Estas son as manualidades que o alumnado de 1º e 2º fixo durante esta estación como traballo de Plástica no Outono. Na clase de Inglés coa profe Ann aprenderon o vocabulario que precisaban e despois na clase de Plástica fixeron a manualidade. Aquí vos amosamos os recursos que usamos.

TRICK OR TREAT BAGS FOR HALLOWEEN!

We learnt and practised how to do "trick or treating" with Teacher Ann. So we made this beautiful Trick or Treat Bags for Halloween.
